I’ve been here 10 months now. I did have a plan. I had a job opportunity here but I decided when I got here that this seemed like an amazing place for opportunity, for growth. So I said, OK, I’m gonna build my own business here. I’m originally from Lancaster, PA, so the area that I grew up in is similar to here. Since then, the Lord has brought some amazing people into my life who have supported me, who have helped me. I’ve never met such fine people.  I’ve had a lot of emotional moments thinking about that. He really does look after his people, right? Jeremiah 29:11 – “for I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans for you to prosper, not to harm you, and to give you a hope and a future.” I love that verse. I keep it in my bathroom, read it in the mornings. I think about that on days when I’m having a hard day. I have to regain perspective again and be grateful for all that God’s done for me. You have to be diligent, like you can’t just sit on the couch and expect things to happen. You have to be diligent, put yourself out there, and make connections. Meet people. But yeah, He brought me a great business partner and some awesome people to support me and encourage me and I’m excited to see what He’s going to do. It’s the first time I’ve ever built a business and I think I can do it with help and support. It’s a good ministry. It’s a good business. I do believe that God blesses Christian businesses if they’re living and walking, according to His will, and are faithful to Him. That’s something my mom always taught us was God blesses those who are faithful to Him. So He will. He looks out for His people.  I believe that at my core, so thank you Lord. Thank you for all that you’ve done.
